Friends of Teso (Uganda) - 2009 Great South Run

Well Done and Thanks to Marilyn!!!

On Sunday 25th October 2009 Marilyn Curtis took part in the 2009 Great South Run
She power walked a distance of 10 miles and raised over £700 for Friends of Teso (Uganda)

In her own words:

"I made it!!! I finished the Race in a time of 2 hrs 27 mins, and my target was 2 hrs 30 mins so really very pleased with the result.
My position out of the 21,000 runners and walkers was 13,622 - so what a great result!
Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me online and offline, and with the extra Gift Aid it will be a great boost for Friends of Teso (Uganda)."
